Building Permit Submission Requirements
Physical copies of the following must be signed and sealed by a registered design professional and then submitted in order to obtain a building permit:
- Site Plan
- Plot Plan
- Plumbing Plans
- Electrical Plans
- Mechanical Plans
- Structural Plans
Residential permits will require a minimum of seven (7) business days for review prior to granting approval. Commercial permits will require a minimum of thirty (30) business days for review prior to granting approval.

Commercial & Industrial Building (over 3,000 sq. ft.) | $750.00 + $0.10 per sq. ft. over 3,000 |
Garage (Detached or Attached) | $175.00 |
Residential Dwelling - Addition | $525.00 |
Residential Dwelling - New (per dwelling) | $525.00 |
Residential Dwelling - Removal (per dwelling) | $50.00 |
Storage Sheds (up to 288 sq. ft.) & carports | $50.00 |
Plan Checking Fee: When it is deemed necessary by the Administrative Officer to employ a person or firm to determine compliance with the provisions of Chapter 500, the cost of the plan review and inspection to determine compliance shall be paid by the permit holder in the amount of $150.00 on top of any necessary permit fees.
